Meet Mary Sellen

A Salado, Texas native, Mary fell in love with Chicago while vacationing with her family every year growing up. She said from an early age that she would one day live in Chicago and in 2007, she was lucky enough to make this great city her permanent home. After spending several years working in healthcare management, Mary decided to pursue a career in Real Estate. She became a licensed broker and began working for a small brokerage firm. There she focused on residential rentals and quickly became one of their top producers. Looking to broaden her knowledge and expand her career, Mary found a position as the Vice President of Operations with Emily Sachs Wong of @properties. She has run the behind the scenes details for the group since 2010 and also hosts her own book of clients.

Mary can be seen driving throughout the city going from clients to closings and managing it all seamlessly. Her background in patient services has given her the listening skills and patience needed to ensure a smooth and efficient real estate transaction. Mary’s attention to detail and her ability to multitask make her an invaluable asset to Emily’s clients and business. In her spare time, Mary enjoys trying new restaurants and catching the latest box office hits. She and her husband reside in the Humboldt Park neighborhood, but do most of their playing in Lincoln Park.
